The following, which was held in second reading from the April 20,                                  
2005, calendar (page 1167), was again before the House:                                             
                                                                                                    
    CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 130(FIN) am                                                               
    "An Act relating to the grant of certain state land to the University                           
    of Alaska; relating to the duties of the Board of Regents;                                      
    establishing the university research forest; and providing for an                               
    effective date."                                                                                
                                                                                                    
Amendment No. 6 was offered  by Representative Salmon:

 Delete all material and insert:

          "(1)  shall offer the right of first refusal to the closest                               
         municipality or then to the closest village corporation listed                             
         under 43 U.S.C. §1610 if not located within the legal                                      
         boundaries of a municipality; and"                                                         
                                                                                                    
Page 7, line 7, following "offer":                                                                  
 Insert "the right of"                                                                              
                                                                                                    
Representative Salmon moved and asked unanimous consent that                                        
Amendment No. 6 be adopted.                                                                         
                                                                                                    
Representative Rokeberg objected.                                                                   
                                                                                                    
Representative Salmon moved and asked unanimous consent to                                          
withdraw Amendment No. 6.  There being no objection, it was so
